The Des Moines Arts Festival shuttle provides easy access to Western Gateway Park, running every 10-15 minutes from the 7^th and Center St. Park and Ride ramp.

 

Parking is free at 7th and Center St. ramp, and the shuttle costs $.50 per ride. Children ages five years and younger ride FREE. The shuttle will drop-off and pick-up guests at the Festival entrance at 11^th St. and Grand Ave. Shuttle hours are Friday, June 27 from 3:30-10:30 p.m.; Saturday, June 28 from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m., and Sunday, June 29 from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

 

The Des Moines Arts Festival has teamed up with ArtFest Midwest to provide The Shuttle Between the Shows, park and ride shuttle service from the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Free yellow bus shuttles will run from the north entrance of the Varied Industries Building to the Des Moines Arts Festival from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, and 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 29.

 

Make your weekend of the arts complete by riding The Shuttle Between the Shows and enjoy both the Des Moines Arts Festival and ArtFest Midwest. So on Saturday and Sunday, park at the Fairgrounds and catch the yellow bus shuttle to the Des Moines Arts Festival downtown, or park downtown and take the yellow bus shuttle to ArtFest Midwest at the Fairgrounds’ Varied Industries Building. The Shuttle Between the Shows hours are Saturday, June 28 from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 29 from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
